‘CORNELL PREZ RESIGN NOW!’: Massive UPROAR Over Gang R*pe Case; Protest Results In No Confidence

Pressure is mounting on Cornell University President Michael Kotlikoff after hundreds of students protested the university’s handling of an alleged 2024 gang rape at the Chi Phi fraternity house, with demonstrators calling for accountability and some demanding that university leaders resign. CNN reported that protesters specifically called for Kotlikoff to step down.

The backlash has now spread to Cornell’s own faculty. Members of the Faculty Senate are preparing a resolution seeking a vote of no confidence in the administration, with the measure expected to be considered at the Senate’s October 14 meeting. A no-confidence vote would be a formal rebuke of the university leadership but would not, by itself, automatically remove the president.
