Turkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to activate deterrence measures under the Mecca joint defence agreement and rapidly deploy their military forces to Saudi Arabia.
The announcement comes after a high-level emergency meeting attended by the defence and foreign ministers of all three countries.
On the ground, Yemen's government forces say they've retaken control of the strategic Bab al-Mandeb strait, including the port of Mocha.
