Gosport migrants: 12 arrested after Brits CLASH with police as bus convoy welcomes 150 boat migrants

12 people have been arrested after anti-migrant protesters clashed with police in Gosport overnight.

Locals demonstrated in the seaside town as a dinghy full of around 150 migrants arrived on the south coast, having set off from Cherbourg in Normandy.

Police were seen mobilising in the local area ahead of the protests. Video shows Hampshire police escorting a convoy of buses that would be used to transport the migrants to the port for processing.

Crowds could be heard chanting 'deport the lot' and 'shame on you' at officers.

Hampshire dispersed the protesters around 2am, allowing for the coach convoy full of migrants to be escorted to a processing centre in Kent.
