Brazil's election: Lula faces off against a new Bolsonaro | Inside Latin America

Inside Latin America examines Brazil's pivotal presidential election, in which President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, 80, faces Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, who is seeking to carry forward the political movement built by his jailed father, former President Jair Bolsonaro.

Political analyst Eduardo Jose Grin discusses whether Flavio could question the election's legitimacy if defeated, as his father once did, and weighs in on competing claims of AI-driven disinformation and fake news from both campaigns, warning of lasting damage to Brazilian democracy regardless of who wins.
