‘600,000 Vehicles…’: Kyiv CUT IN HALF As Russian Drone HAMMERS Critical Bridge In War Nightmare

Russia has stepped up strikes on key bridges across Kyiv, with Russian drones hitting crossings over the Dnipro River and disrupting one of the Ukrainian capital’s most important transport networks. Dramatic footage shows a Russian drone striking the Southern Bridge, while another major crossing, the Northern Bridge, was also hit in recent days. The damage has triggered major traffic disruption, with long lines of cars and buses forming as residents search for alternative routes across the river. Kyiv officials say around 600,000 vehicles use the city’s bridges every day, highlighting just how important the crossings are to the capital’s daily life and logistics. Russian officials have described the bridges as strategically important infrastructure, alleging that they are also used to move Ukrainian troops and military supplies. Kyiv, meanwhile, has focused on the immediate impact on civilians, with damaged crossings affecting public transport, commuting and movement between the eastern and western sides of the city. The strikes mark another shift in how the war is being felt inside Kyiv — not only through drone attacks and explosions, but through the disruption of the infrastructure that keeps the capital moving.
