British police arrest UK-Iranian national over RAF Fairford airbase incident

British Counter Terrorism police have arrested a man in connection with a security incident near a Royal Air Force base on Sunday.
They say a dual UK-Iranian national has been arrested on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts.
Five men were arrested on suspected terrorism and explosive offences but were later released on bail.
RAF Fairford has long been used by the US military and NATO forces.
Since March, the US has operated from the base during the Iran war.
