BOOM! Houthis SHOOT DOWN Saudi Aircraft, Display Smoking Wreckage In MASSIVE Power Play | WATCH

Yemen’s Houthis say they have shot down a Saudi reconnaissance drone and released footage showing what they describe as the smoking wreckage of the aircraft. The claim comes amid a sharp escalation in southern Yemen, following an airstrike at the Mawiya junction in Taiz province. Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said Saudi forces carried out the strike and warned of “severe consequences.” The Houthi-run health ministry said seven people were killed and around 40 injured, including children. Yemen’s internationally recognised government has given a different account, saying its forces targeted a Houthi military camp and vehicles near the market. Three military sources cited by Reuters said the Houthis had recently established a military camp in the area. The reported drone shootdown has not been independently verified. For the Houthis, however, displaying the alleged wreckage is another attempt to demonstrate that their air defences can challenge Saudi operations from the air as fighting intensifies across Yemen.
