India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar delivered a sharp response at the UN General Assembly, referring to a “serial practitioner of terrorism” and saying attempts to normalise terrorism “will not stand.” He also asserted India’s right to defend itself against terrorist attacks, a day after Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif raised Kashmir and the Indus Waters Treaty at the UNGA.
