Lebanon PM tells UN his country is in a war it did not choose

Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is addressing the UN General Assembly as Israeli strikes continue in the south, where more than 60 towns remain under occupation despite a ceasefire framework based on Resolution 1701 and a June agreement. He calls for ending the war, an Israeli withdrawal, and a clear timetable with verification.
