A woman who won a civil rape case against Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor says she "believed she was going to die" when McGregor assaulted her at a Dublin hotel in 2018.
In an interview with Sky's Cathy Newman, Nikita Hand opened up about the "mental trauma" of the ordeal and the impact of the lawsuit on her life. She says her "bubbly" old self has "gone now" and that she's having to "learn to live with the new Nikita."
Hand won £206,000 in damages plus costs from a Dublin court after a jury at Dublin's High Court found McGregor assaulted her.
