A lifelong hunter had Bigfoot in his rifle scope. Then the creature turned its head, looked directly through the scope and stared straight into his eyes.

Darren Clark of Outlaw Country has spent more than 40 years exploring the remote mountains and forests of British Columbia, Canada. He knows the difference between a bear, a man and something that should not exist.

During a solo sheep hunt in the early 1990s, Darren spotted an enormous black figure moving through the Canadian wilderness. Believing it might be a bear, he raised his binoculars and watched the creature stand upright on two legs.

Darren placed the massive eight-foot being in his rifle scope. As it walked away, it turned its head completely around and looked directly back at him. What Darren saw through that scope was not the face of an ape. He says it looked more human than anything else.

That terrifying Sasquatch sighting was only the beginning.

Years later, something unleashed a horrifying roar from a snowy mountain valley and began violently snapping trees. Although Darren has faced charging grizzly bears, the encounter frightened him so badly that he has never returned to that valley.

Darren also shares chilling experiences involving a Bigfoot entering his camp, something banging on a tree while watching him from the darkness, strange communication in the wilderness and a fresh bear claw mysteriously placed inside his backpack while he slept only inches away.

In this interview, Darren explains why he no longer questions whether Bigfoot exists, what he believes these beings may actually be and why he warns people to never wish for an encounter of their own.

Once you see one, you can never unsee it.
