Hello everyone, and welcome back to our channel!
Today, we are excited to share an inspiring story from Ly Luu Linh, a 25-year-old young woman who was forced to leave her home after being unable to have children. With nothing but a few belongings and clothes covered in dirt, she decided to leave her difficult life behind and build a completely new life for herself in the forest.
She traveled to a remote location on a tropical mountain slope, where she found a relatively flat piece of land surrounded by beautiful forest. Determined to become independent, she began building a bamboo house from scratch using natural materials available around her.
Step by step, her simple bamboo house in the forest began to take shape. The main structure, walls, and supporting posts were made entirely from bamboo, while palm leaves were used for the roof. By using natural materials, she was able to reduce construction costs and create a simple but practical home.
After completing the bamboo house, she continued building a separate bamboo kitchen right beside her home. She also made bamboo tables, chairs, baskets, and other handmade items for everyday use.
Her new forest life did not stop there. She started developing a small forest farm, growing vegetables such as cabbage, kohlrabi, and other fresh crops to provide food for her daily life. She also made traditional bamboo handicrafts, including woven bamboo baskets and carrying baskets.
During the rainy season, she discovered that a nearby forest stream was home to many freshwater crabs. She carefully caught a large number of crabs and brought them to the local market to sell. With the money she earned, she bought food, tools, and other essential supplies needed for her off-grid life in the forest.
From starting with almost nothing to building a bamboo house, bamboo kitchen, vegetable garden, and small forest farm, her journey was filled with hard work, challenges, and determination.
This is more than just a bamboo house building project. It is a story about rebuilding life, learning traditional skills, living close to nature, and creating a more independent lifestyle in the forest.
Watch until the end to see how this young woman transforms a remote piece of forest land into her own peaceful home and sustainable way of life.
