A series of powerful explosions struck Al-Eis in the southern countryside of Syria’s Aleppo province, with a blast reported at a military site followed by repeated secondary explosions. Local sources said the location was an ammunition depot belonging to Syria’s Defence Ministry. Four injured people were evacuated, while continuing explosions complicated rescue operations. Authorities closed the Aleppo-Damascus highway and nearby roads, placed security personnel on high alert and urged residents to remain indoors and stay away from the affected area.
