A new French Catholic school in Orléans has been named in honour of beloved children's entertainer Suzanne Pinel, best known by her stage name Marie Soleil. CTV's Stefan Keyes reports that Pinel visited the school to give her blessing and interact with the new generation of francophone learners. CECCE Director of Education Marc Bertrand says the decision to name the school after her was nearly unanimous among the board, community and parents. Student Isaac Arnett says he loves the school's fresh take on learning, which includes a focus on nature, outdoor activities and visits to a farm.
