From Tehran Streets: Iranian Women Turn Into Drone Operators, IRGC Stages Massive War Drills
Pictures appearing to show Iranian women operating FPV drone systems have gone viral on social media, reportedly linked to Iran’s so-called “Sacrifice March.” The images were shared in connection with the “313,000 Jan-Fada of Iran” drill, described by organizers as a nationwide demonstration of resistance, unity and military readiness. Reuters footage from Tehran on September 18 showed large numbers of participants taking part in the exercise, which was held across Iran and involved IRGC-linked forces, organized units and civilians. The drill was presented by Iran as a message of preparedness to its adversaries. However, the authenticity, location and exact context of the viral images circulating online could not be independently verified.
