Welcome back to What Are People Wearing in NYC — and this time, we’re taking on New York Fashion Week 2026. From runway shows and fashion presentations to parties, designers, models, creatives, and the stylish people filling the streets of Manhattan, this episode is a look at what NYC is actually wearing during one of the biggest weeks in fashion.
We hit some of the most iconic names and events around the city, starting with J.Press and Brooks Brothers, two legendary institutions in American menswear and prep, before heading to New York Men’s Day to see what the next generation of designers is bringing to the New York fashion scene.
But NYFW isn’t just about the the big brands. We also stopped by Twink Next Door, checked out the people and outfits making their way around the city, and took in the energy of Fashion Week after dark at the Fashion Week Close Out Party, presented with Suntory Haku Vodka and featuring special guest Rina Sawayama.
