Canada falls to U.S. in wheelchair basketball final

The Canadian women's wheelchair basketball team took home silver after a heartbreaking 77-76 loss to the United States in the world championship final at TD Place. CTV's Josh Marano reports that Kady Dandeneau scored 34 points and Arinn Young added 30 points in the nail-biting gold-medal game. Young says she is grateful for the medal despite the single-point defeat, marking Canada's first women's world championship podium finish since winning gold in Toronto in 2014. Wheelchair Basketball Canada CEO Wendy Gittens and Sport Secretary Adam van Koeverden praised the tournament for highlighting elite para-sport on home soil.
