Earl Spencer has insisted he is "telling the truth" about the phone call he claims to have had with King Charles after his sister's death.
Spencer claims in his memoir that the King told him "we'll forget her [Diana] soon enough", which was questioned by the Palace in a rare public statement.
The palace, in a statement released earlier in the week about the book's allegations, said the King is "mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason".
