Third malaria death linked to Frankfurt Airport outbreak | DW News

A third person has died in a rare malaria outbreak linked to Frankfurt Airport. Two residents living near the airport were infected despite not travelling abroad or working at the airport. German health authorities are investigating the cause. Authorities believe infected mosquitoes may have arrived on aircraft or in cargo.
