ON CAM: Missile Hits Civilian Plane? Boeing 737 Shakes, Passengers Panic And Shout Inside Jet

A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 flying from Mashhad to Kermanshah in Iran faced a frightening emergency shortly after takeoff on September 15. Reports said a landing-gear tyre suffered a problem, followed by severe vibrations and an engine-related emergency, prompting the pilot to return to Mashhad. Dramatic footage from inside the cabin shows passengers screaming and chanting as overhead compartments and sections of the cabin ceiling appear to come loose. The aircraft landed safely, with no injuries reported. The runway was temporarily closed following the incident. While the footage emerged amid heightened tensions in the region, available reports have not indicated that the aircraft was attacked or hit by a missile. The exact circumstances are being investigated.
