Lucy Godley was subjected to a campaign of violence by her partner which started when she was 20 weeks pregnant.

Knowing that the chances of a conviction against her partner was unlikely, Lucy and her mother secretly collated extensive evidence together over the space of a year, to make the case against him as strong as possible.

Lucy's partner received a 23-year prison sentence for subjecting her to a campaign of horrific physical, sexual, emotional and financial abuse.

The clip of her friends telling her about the guilty verdict went viral, and now she helps other victims navigate themselves away from abuse.

Lucy spoke to Sky's Sarah-Jane Mee on The UK Tonight.
