Pentagon confirms US weapons deployed in orbit

For the first time, the Pentagon has publicly confirmed that the US has deployed what it calls “space control weapons”, into orbit.
The military won't say exactly what they are, or what they can do —but the disclosure marks a significant new stage in the militarization of space.
