‘MASSIE GONE ROGUE’: Pete Hegseth Faces GOP Revolt Over Iran War; Impeachment Vote STUNS Blanche

Pete Hegseth is facing an extraordinary challenge from within his own party after Republican Rep. Thomas Massie moved to force a House vote on impeaching the defense secretary over the Iran war. Massie accuses Hegseth of continuing military operations without proper congressional authorization and of violating war-powers limits.

Attorney General Todd Blanche quickly rallied behind Hegseth, declaring that the Pentagon chief is doing a “phenomenal job” and “follows the law.” Because Massie introduced the measure as a privileged resolution, the House must address it within two legislative days, putting Republicans on the record just weeks before the midterms.
