MBS’ ‘Last’ Hormuz Escape Route ‘COLLAPSES’: Houthi Attack Shuts Saudi Pipeline, Yanbu Loadings
Saudi Arabia has suspended oil loadings at the Red Sea port of Yanbu, according to shipping-industry sources cited by Reuters, after an earlier attack forced the closure of the East-West Pipeline supplying the terminal. The pipeline is a critical route allowing Riyadh to move crude from its oil-producing eastern region to the Red Sea while bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. With Yanbu loadings reportedly halted, Saudi Arabia’s ability to export oil without using Hormuz has come under fresh pressure. The disruption could have wider implications for global oil markets, shipping costs and fuel prices if the shutdown continues.
