CONFIRMED: U.S. Deploys Weapon In Space, China LASHES At Trump Over ‘NEW WAR’ | ‘Don’t Compete…’

The United States has publicly confirmed for the first time that it has a “space-control weapon” deployed in orbit. US Air Force Secretary Troy Meink declined to identify the system, explain what it can target or disclose when it entered orbit. The term could cover technology capable of jamming communications, dazzling sensors, electronically disrupting satellites or physically disabling spacecraft. China has demanded that Washington stop expanding its military preparations in space. Beijing says the deployment risks transforming outer space into a battlefield and triggering an arms race involving the United States, China and Russia. The disclosure comes as the Trump administration accelerates its Golden Dome missile-defence project, which could eventually include space-based interceptors. Washington calls the new capabilities deterrence. China argues that they will make satellites legitimate military targets.
