Reform UK Chairman Lee Anderson launches a furious attack on Angela Rayner over what he describes as Labour’s hypocrisy surrounding political donations. Anderson questions the government’s plans to introduce new limits on political donations and asks: “Is the government trying to rig the political system in its favour?”

Martin Daubney reacts to Labour’s proposals to cap donations made by foreign donors to political parties, while Anderson hits back at Rayner over her description of Reform UK donors as “fascist oligarchs”. The Reform chairman dismisses the claims as “absolute nonsense” and argues that the rules around political funding must apply fairly across the political spectrum.

Anderson also outlines how Reform UK would change the way political parties are funded, declaring: “We will introduce legislation to stop the unions funding the Labour Party.” He then turns his fire directly on Rayner, telling the Housing Minister: “You’ve already sold out.”
