Cataract surgery patients on Vancouver Island accessing new vision care technology

Patients undergoing cataract surgery on the Saanich Peninsula now have access to some of the most advanced vision care technology in the world. Saanich Peninsula Hospital has become the first public hospital in Canada to use a next-generation cataract surgery system, and it's all thanks to donors. Nearly one-thousand cataract surgeries are performed at the hospital every year.
