We’ve spent a lot of this trip eating at some of America’s biggest restaurant chains. But this time, we’re ditching the big names for a family-owned Florida steakhouse the locals seem to love.
This is Manny’s Original Chophouse in Central Florida — and when we arrived, the car park was already filling up. By the time we left, people were waiting outside to get in.
So what does this local Florida steakhouse have that the big chains don’t?
We’re trying Manny’s for ourselves, from their homemade bread and cinnamon butter to the steaks we really came for — including a huge porterhouse and ribeye. And along the way, this evening takes a turn we genuinely weren’t expecting.
