This season of life isn't particularly exciting.

We're back to homeschooling, making simple meals, cleaning the house, caring for the animals, tending what's left in the garden, and moving through the ordinary rhythms of our days. And as a content creator, sometimes that can feel like a problem. There isn't always a new project, a big harvest, or something impressive to show.

But maybe that's not a problem at all.

I've been thinking a lot about seasons lately and about how we can't give 100% of ourselves to everything at the same time. There are seasons when the garden and food preservation need more of me, and seasons when homeschooling and home life need to come first. Learning to embrace those shifts means also learning to let some things go for a while.

This week I'm sharing bits and pieces of our ordinary days while talking about productivity, comparison, homeschooling, homesteading, content creation, and learning to see the beauty in a life that isn't constantly chasing the next thing.

Maybe the mundane isn't something we need to escape. Maybe getting to live a peaceful, ordinary life was the goal all along.
