Reform UK gets record-breaking donations amid funding investigation

For the second time in as many days, the political party Reform UK has received a donation of almost $49m, the largest ever given to a UK political party. On Friday, British cryptocurrency billionaire Ben Delo made the first record-breaking contribution, only for Thailand-based investor Christopher Harborne to match it on Saturday.

Delo has previously been convicted of financial irregularities but was pardoned by US President Donald Trump. The back-to-back donations come as Reform UK is under criminal investigation after being accused of breaking foreign funding rules.
