Americans have been telling us for YEARS that we need to try Red Robin, so this British family finally listened. But are Red Robin's famous gourmet burgers and Bottomless Steak Fries really as good as Americans say?
After our first Olive Garden experience, we're continuing our American restaurant education — and this time we're trying Red Robin for the first time.
We ordered the famous tower of onion rings, Campfire Mayo, Red Robin's house-made ranch, strawberry lemonade and, of course, the burgers. Nakita went for the Sautéed 'Shroom Burger while David tackled the Royal Red Robin, complete with a fried egg, bacon and cheese.
What we weren't prepared for was just how good the burgers would be. One of us even called it the best restaurant burger we'd ever tasted.
We also discover Red Robin's surprising Seattle history, the story behind its name and why the Red Robin connection reminds us of our home in Bristol, England.
