What do the public think of the tourist tax?

Andy Burnham says he wants to introduce a tourist tax on parts of the UK.

Business leaders are warning that plans to give mayors in England the power to introduce an overnight tourist tax could have a “catastrophic” impact.

In Edinburgh, where a similar system is already in place, councillors say it raises tens of millions of pounds each year to invest back into the city.
