I recently traveled to South Korea for a rare behind-the-scenes look at Hyundai’s massive vehicle development operation in Namyang. It’s where Hyundai engineers develop, test and fine-tune cars and SUVs that end up in your driveway.
It’s a lot more than a factory tour.
At the Namyang development center, I saw the people, tech, testing and engineering that go into creating a modern Hyundai. I drive in its 270-degree car simulator. Witness the future of electrical systems at the NOVA Lab. And MotorTrend’s Christian Seabaugh and I take Pleos Connect and Gleo AI out onto the streets of Seoul. While jet lagged.
