Asian Games 2026 | India’s T20 Stars To Stay In Designated Hotels In Japan

Asian Games 2026: India’s T20 World Champions are set to travel to Japan for the upcoming Asian Games, but the players will not receive five-star or superstar treatment. The BCCI has confirmed that both the Indian men’s and women’s T20 teams will stay at designated hotels in Nagoya.

Concerns had been raised over accommodation and playing facilities for India’s top stars, including Jasprit Bumrah and other leading players. However, BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla said the arrangements are comfortable and satisfactory.

The Asian Cricket Council has also cleared the ground, wickets and dressing rooms after inspecting the facilities. India’s men’s team is additionally scheduled to play a friendly match against Japan before the Asian Games begin on September 19.
