Ottawa businesses and shoppers are bracing for higher prices as Canada imposes new tariffs on American goods. CTV's Austin Lee reports that Capital Beauty Supply owner Will Moizer is concerned about a 50 per cent tariff on American hair products and says customers may look for non-American alternatives if prices rise. Moizer says his business stocked up on American products ahead of the tariffs while continuing to promote Canadian products when possible. The developments come as Canada and the European Union are reportedly working toward a broader alliance involving trade, security and supply chains.
