Ottawa woman turns 107 surrounded by family and friends

Evelyn Poke is celebrating a milestone few people ever reach — her 107th birthday. CTV's Simply Ottawa introduces us to the former English and social science teacher, who has spent most of her life in Ottawa raising a family and helping generations of students. Family, friends and staff gathered at Amica Westboro Park to celebrate her remarkable milestone. Poke says staying connected with family and friends, both in person and online, is one of her secrets to a long life.
