Marco Rubio visits Colombia as US seeks stronger influence in Latin America

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been visiting Colombia — the first stop on a tour of three South American nations, that have recently aligned with the Trump administration.
Rubio promised a stronger relationship with Colombia, following four years of tension under the country's previous left-wing government.
