On March 21st, 2023, Largo attorney Steven Cozzi stood up from his desk at Blanchard Law, walked to the communal bathroom, and never came back. His wallet, keys, phone, and laptop were still on his desk.
Five days later, plastic surgeon Dr. Tomasz “Tom” Kosowski was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on first-degree murder. Police say he and Cozzi were locked in a bitter civil lawsuit. Surveillance allegedly showed a man entering the building in jeans and gloves, then leaving with what looked like a body wrapped in a blanket. Investigators later found blood that had been cleaned from the bathroom floor and Kosowski’s fingerprint on a nearby utility closet door. Cozzi’s body has never been found. Kosowski's trial starts on September 14th, 2026.
Additional Info: 🚨When police pulled Tomasz Kosowski over on March 25, 2023 in a red Toyota Corolla, they found about $282,120 in cash, some of it bundled in $10,000 stacks, a ballistic vest with an EMS patch that the affidavit said had a substantial amount of blood on it, succinylcholine and other IV sedatives with syringes, brass knuckles, a taser, duct tape, several guns, two sets of gloves, a surgical mask, a hairnet, a license-plate concealment controller, a pocket knife, sponges, an iPhone, a prepaid phone, a laptop and an iPad!
