Season 5 has barely begun, and the island is already reminding us who is really in charge. The lake keeps rising, the shoreline is changing fast and a simple walk around the property turns into a much bigger concern.

While Ryan works on the off grid water system for our remote island homestead, the rising water starts threatening more than just the beach. The sawmill, off grid solar, and supplies near the array shed all become part of the same question: how high is this lake going to go? 🌊
