Phanteks have been making waves with case design in recent years, the new EX5 series certainly follows the same path. With individual thermal zones for each component, the idea is that each of your hardware can regulate their own temperatures. In theory it actually works, but it does come at a slight cost for the motherboard as this has very limited airflow, especially around the RAM and VRM's.
With that being said, EX5 was never designed to be all out performance, instead, think of the case like the 'ultimate display' case. It makes a heck of a statement, has a good (but not excellent) cooling format and it's definitely going to get your friends talking!

The Phanteks EX5 Max is a unique PC case in many ways. Whilst it's not geared towards all out performance, I absolutely love the design and styling with this one. Assuming you build within a modest thermal footprint, this case will certainly do you proud!
