Indonesia’s Anak Krakatau volcano continued erupting, sending ash and lava into the sky and disrupting air travel across the region. More than 340,000 passengers were stranded, while seven airports remained closed and over 2,300 flights were cancelled or delayed. Ash clouds also spread across parts of Java and Sumatra.
