I’m out today once again in the remote Tasmanian wilderness, I’ve got myself a four day weather window ahead and I’ve allocated that time to revisit an old goldfield one that I discovered myself in more recent times I’ll be passing through some of the most spectacular country. Tasmania has on offer, temperate rainforests, but grass plains and gold bearing creeks. On my last adventure in here I managed to secure some gold with my metal detector. There’s some huge potential here for more discoveries. I feel like I’ve only just got to work on this spot, it’s just the tip of the iceberg. I made the four hour journey down this morning to be here in good time so let’s make the most of it, we’ll get on this hike and we’ll go see what we can find together.
