The Strait of Hormuz is burning. After Iran’s Revolutionary Guards launched ballistic missiles toward U.S. Navy warships, American forces struck back and destroyed three Iranian oil tankers. As Admiral Brad Cooper put it: “You fired at two — we took down three.” The message from Washington is clear: Iran attacked, and Iran paid.
Trump’s trap is closing on the Revolutionary Guards. Iranian oil is stuck, the regime’s shadow fleet is being hit, and the economy in Tehran is collapsing under pressure. The U.S. is tightening the naval and economic siege, targeting the tankers, banks, companies, and money channels that keep the regime alive.
The three tankers struck by the United States are part of Iran’s massive sanctions-evasion network — a shadow fleet worth billions of dollars. These vessels hide ownership, change registrations, turn off tracking systems, and move oil through secret routes in order to bypass sanctions and keep money flowing to Tehran.
Behind the scenes, a major Iranian money trick has been exposed. According to the report, about $9 billion in Iranian-linked funds flowed through the American banking system in 2024. Washington is now expanding Operation Economic Outcast, forcing banks to strengthen oversight and choke Iran’s shadow banking networks.
The Iranian money tap is drying up. Hezbollah reportedly asked Iran for cash assistance and was refused. Now, with Iranian oil exports paralyzed and financial pipelines under attack, Hezbollah may be forced to search for new criminal and illegal money networks around the world.
On the ground, the IDF captured and cleared Hezbollah’s main headquarters in southern Lebanon on the Ali Taher ridge. The tunnel system, described by the IDF as Hezbollah’s “Kiryah base” in southern Lebanon, included advanced command rooms, communications rooms, a clinic, operating room, staging rooms, and weapons depots. With this site captured, Hezbollah’s last organized defensive system in southern Lebanon has taken a major blow.
Iran is threatening Israel again, the U.S. is striking the Revolutionary Guards’ economic lifelines, Hezbollah is losing both money and territory, and the road north — toward Beirut and the Bekaa Valley — is becoming more open if Israel is required to continue the campaign.
