Germany’s far-right AfD wins Saxony-Anhalt state election: Exit polls

The far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) is on course to win its first state election.
That would make it the first time a far-right party wins a German state since the World War II.
Exit polls show the AfD will secure 44 percent of the vote in the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt.
The party's known for its anti-immigrant stance.
