GREENLAND DEFENCE: As Greenland expands its civil and military defence initiatives, young local recruits are stepping up for an intensive six-month Arctic preparation course designed to prepare them for the extreme conditions of the region.
The recruits are undergoing demanding training in the harsh Arctic environment, where cold temperatures, challenging terrain and unpredictable conditions test their physical and mental endurance.
The programme comes as Arctic security and defence continue to gain greater attention, with Greenland playing an increasingly important role in the strategic Arctic region.
