VP Vance says US will not talk to Iran unless Hormuz shipping attacks stop

US Vice President JD Vance, speaking from the White House in the recently vacated role of press secretary, has said there will be no talks with Iran until Tehran "stops shooting at commercial shipping".
He said Washington's actions in the Strait of Hormuz are to prevent a "catastrophic world energy crisis".
