Singapore and Thailand's prime ministers have reaffirmed both country's commitment to cooperation on food and energy security as well as collaboration on AI on Wednesday (Sep 2).
At a leaders' retreat in Bangkok, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said Thailand will build on the rice trade agreement inked in November 2025 and supply Singapore with 100,000 tonnes of Thai rice over five years.
Prime Minister Lawrence Wong also mentioned how Singapore and Thailand are looking at advancing the ASEAN power grid as part of plans to strengthen energy resilience together. #singaporenews#thailandnews
