Hundreds of Muslims in Indonesia's East Kalimantan province held Istisqo prayer, or prayers for rain, at a parade square in Kutai Kartanegara regency on Wednesday (Sep 2).
The prayers were organised as land and forest fires worsen on the island of Borneo, where the resulting haze has caused respiratory illnesses and forced thousands of schools to move classes online — including in neighbouring Malaysia and Philippines. #indonesia#indonesianews#haze#forestfire
