Iran has reportedly launched a new wave of drone attacks targeting Bahrain, with Tehran claiming radar installations and the US-linked Sheikh Isa Airbase were targeted. Bahrain says its air-defence systems intercepted and destroyed Iranian drones after authorities urged residents to seek shelter. Iran's army described the strikes as part of the 29th phase of Operation Thunder and warned of a “crushing and extensive response” to further attacks, escalating fears of a wider Gulf conflict involving US forces.
