This film features only real footage of coral reef marine creatures, filmed by the incredible underwater cameraman Edi Frommenwiler.
Edi runs the Indonesian liveaboard Pindito and has spent more than thirty years filming the marine life of these waters with professional cinema equipment. He is also behind the Grand Blue Project - an ambitious interactive marine-life platform bringing together more than 5,500 high-definition videos of over 1,500 species, alongside detailed species information, an interactive Tree of Life, and global sighting maps. It is essentially a living visual library of the ocean: built to help divers, students, educators and anyone fascinated by marine life explore, understand and ultimately care more deeply about what lives beneath the surface.
